How to Apply For Residence
Step 1: Get Your CCID
To apply for residence, you will need your Campus Computing ID (CCID). You will be issued a CCID within 72 hours of applying for admission to a program (you do not need to be accepted or conditionally accepted to get a CCID).
Step 2: Submit Your Application and Pay the Fee
Log in below with your CCID and fill out the application form. Pay the $25.00 non-refundable Application Fee by credit card and submit.
Step 3: Secure your Reservation
In the spring, Residence Services begins sending out room offers to incoming first-year students who have been fully accepted to one of their program choices and room selection time slots to upper-year and graduate students. Check your UAlberta Gmail account regularly for these communications - you will need to pay a non-refundable $500.00 Residence Deposit in order to secure your housing reservation, which goes toward your first months' rent.
